All Terrain Vehicles.

their Polaris ATVs, there will be more and more dealers to sell
these parts. So, if you need a particular part for your Polaris
all- terrain- 4X4 you will find what you want, at reasonable prices.
There are a great many sites in the Internet, that can offer you
such things that you haven't even thought of before. Here you will
find some information that will hopefully help you. Ok, first of
all, you may want to learn what can be found on the market for your
all terrain vehicle, don't you? And you also need it to be Polaris,
right?
Well, there are a lot of Polaris ATV parts that you can add or replace.
There are even such small things like: Xenon bulbs, or 2
Gallon Gas Fuel Carrier Racks.
Let's start with one of the most often replaced Polaris ATV parts,
and in most of the ATVs as a whole. Have you guessed it already?
It is the bumper.
Most of the riders of all terrain vehicles decide to add bumpers
to their ATVs in order to refresh the appearance of their vehicles,
but the bumper has another purpose. Originally the bumper
was a separate metal bar or blade at each end of a vehicle to prevent
damaging the main part of the vehicle from damage occurred by a
slight bump into an obstruction or another vehicle. Nowadays the
bumper can be found in different colors, different shapes and materials.
As it was said before it also gives to your ATV a better appearance.
What else can be replaced in your ATV? Yes, of course, that
it can be almost anything, but right now we are following some kind
of a plan, right? Ok, so let's move on to this Polaris ATV part:
POLARIS 250 cc ATV .080 WISECO PISTON KIT. Now you may don't
know what a piston is, so here will be explained in a few words.
The piston is a round or cylindrical plug, which closed at one end
and open at the other. It slides up and down in the cylinder. It
is attached to the connecting rod and when the fuel charge is fired
it tranfers the force of the explosion to the connecting rod and
then to the crankshaft. It can be used with The Polaris Trail
Boss 250, 4x4; The Scrambler 250, and The Trail Blazer 250.
Wiseco pistons are known for durability, longevity, and increased
horsepower. And its innovative forging design and piston skirt provides
maximum horsepower and torque.
Other Polaris ATV parts are the starters. But what in fact
is the starter? You probably know what it is, but if you don't know,
read the following: The starter is a small electrical motor that
causes the engine crankshaft to begin to turn, which starts the
engine running and so starts the vehicle. This small and useful
gadget was invented in 1911 by Cadillac engineers, after that
the manual crank-starter was replaced by an electric motor and thus
made it easier and safer for people to start and drive their vehicles.
The newest starters, which are produced by Polaris are the ATV
Starter Drive Bendix and the Polaris Starter 250 300 350
400 ATV HD. The second starter doesn't include a starter drive
and its voltage is 12 Volt.
The ATV Starter Drive Bendix fits to all models 250 300
350 425 and 500, produced from 1985 to 2002 year.
Next comes the break pads. The break pad is the friction
material or lining which is secured to metal plates. They press
against the brake disc or rotor to enable the wheel to stop. They
are to be distinguished from brake shoes which press against the
inside of a drum. The break pad is also called a "brake block."
Sometimes the term "brake pad" refers to both the pad and the metal
backing.
The break pads, offered by Polaris are sold in sets. The latest
one is called Polaris ATV Front Break Pad Set. It fits to
almost everyone of the ATV models, which Polaris have ever put on
market.
And now, let's go on with the next Polaris ATV part. It is the impeller.
An impeller means a rotating member of a centrifugal
pump which is equipped with vanes to convert mechanical energy into
fluid energy. There is a New Solas Impeller for Polaris SL900
& 1050. It is a 15/24 pitch and fits any year Polaris 900
or 1050 engine. The Solas part number is PA-SC-I.
Now, here comes the next Polaris ATV part for your all terrain vehicle.
It is the grip. You know the importance of this small thing,
don't you? Especially during the summer. Your hands get slippery
from the sweat and you can lose control of the vehicle. That is
why the grips are usually made of nonslip soft rubber. Others are
with high-density foam, which deadens vibration and prevents "tingling."
Still others are large anti-vibration pads, which minimize fatigue
and prevent slippage.
Sometimes the cargo, which you want to load on your ATV, is more
than the maximum which the ATV can carry. In such cases you need
only one thing. This is the trailer. Since the trailer is
added to the ATV, it has a great effect on the normal abilities
of your ATV. This means that the ATV will "behave" in a different
way, than usual. So, you should never underestimate the risks and
dangers that can occur!
Well, you have finally reached the end of all the explanations about
the Polaris ATV parts. Hopefully you have found what you needed.
